Join us for an educational gardening workshop.
Led by Nancy Scott, a Nebraska Certified Nurseryman and Master Gardener—recently honored with the Green Omaha Coalition’s Lifetime Achievement Friend of the Environment Award—these sessions are perfect for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike.
This week we will be potting new native plants and learning about winter sowing through potting and care of seedling. In addition, learn about each plant, where to plant, how to care, what seasons they thrive. All of the plants will be offered at events for free will donations with the intention of growing the square footage of native gardens.
There will also be an exploration of two significant backyard gardens to see the plants in their adult stage as well as to discuss briefly about vegetable gardening.
Q&A is available throughout the session, feel free to bring specific questions about your own garden.
Grow your knowledge, meet fellow garden enthusiasts, and dig into sustainable practices that benefit both you and the planet.
